These terms govern your use of Nudge. They're written in plain language — no legal jargon designed to trick you.

Acceptance of Terms

▸By downloading, installing, or using Nudge, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
▸We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

▸Nudge is a personal productivity application for tracking habits, streaks, and goals. It is provided for personal, non-commercial use.
▸You must be at least 13 years old to use Nudge.
▸You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
▸You agree not to reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise abuse the Nudge API or services.
▸You agree not to use Nudge for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes the rights of others.

▸You retain ownership of all habit data, notes, and content you create in Nudge.
▸By using Nudge, you grant us a limited licence to process your data to provide the service (including generating AI notifications).
▸We do not claim ownership of your data and will not sell it to third parties.

▸Nudge uses OpenAI's API to generate personalised push notification messages. These messages are generated algorithmically and may not always be accurate, appropriate, or motivating.
▸AI-generated content does not constitute professional advice of any kind — including medical, psychological, or fitness advice.
▸You acknowledge that AI outputs may occasionally be unexpected or generic despite our best efforts.

▸Nudge requires push notification permissions to deliver habit reminders. You can revoke these permissions in your device settings at any time.
▸Notification delivery depends on your device, operating system, network connection, and third-party services (Apple APNs, Google FCM, Expo). We do not guarantee delivery of every notification.

▸Nudge is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will clearly disclose pricing before any charges are made.
▸Any future in-app purchases will be subject to the terms of the applicable app store (Apple App Store, Google Play Store).

▸Nudge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
▸We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
▸We are not responsible for any loss of data, streaks, or progress resulting from technical failures.

▸To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nudge and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
▸Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of Nudge shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $10 if you have not paid anything).

▸You may stop using Nudge and delete your account at any time.
▸We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse, or attempt to harm the service or other users.

▸These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
